October 1st 2011 is Warrior Dash
It’s a 3.5 mile adventure race which looks like a lot of fun and would be a great warmup to the Tough Mudder event a couple weeks later.

The races take place in waves from 10am to 3pm and there are bands, beer, and food all day.
